Job description
- Researching and identifying potential suppliers, and evaluating them based on factors such as quality, price, and delivery time.
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers and ensuring that they meet the organization's needs.
- Managing relationships with suppliers, and resolving any issues or disputes that arise.
- Creating purchase orders and monitoring the delivery of goods and services.
- Maintaining accurate records of all procurement transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
- Developing and maintaining a procurement budget, and identifying opportunities to reduce costs.
- Conducting market research and benchmarking exercises to ensure that the organization is receiving the best value for money.
Job Qualifications:
- At least 1 year experience as a Purchasing Officer or similar role/industry
- Good knowledge of supplier sourcing practises (researching, evaluating and liaising with suppliers)
- Strong understanding of supply chain procedures
- Ability to create reports via Microsoft excel or GSheet
- Effective time and priority management
- Good communication (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
- Willing to work onsite in BGC Taguig
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Php20,000.00 - Php23,000.00 per month
