Payroll Specialist


 

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing all aspects of payroll including delivering the payroll fortnightly and administering the process of the company’s benefits such as statutory compliance, medical insurance, and other related matters.

The main responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Responsible for the end-to-end payroll process including payroll preparations and validations (timekeeping, deductions, loan payments, final pay etc.)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll and benefits records.
  • Prepare and present reports summarizing payroll and benefits data
  • Ensures timely and accurate filling of BIR Compliance requirements.
  • Handles payroll and benefits-related inquiries and requests
  • Process of payroll ATM applications for new hires
  • Administers both government mandated and company-initiated benefits at the company
  • Ensures compliance with all government regulations
  • Process monthly reports of government remittances of premium contribution that is deducted to the employee’s salary
  • Ensures the benefits trackers is updated (HMO updates, etc)

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in end-to-end local payroll operations
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent relevant courses
  • With extensive background and knowledge of Philippine Labor laws and practices relevant in performing compensation and benefits services
  • Experienced in using HRIS, Timekeeping and Payroll systems.
  • Effective task and time management skills;
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality;
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across different teams
