Job Description
Responsible in overseeing and managing the learning and development operations within the organization. Works closely with the learning and development team to ensure the smooth execution of training programs, employee development initiatives, and knowledge management processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
Training Program Management:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop comprehensive training programs.
- Coordinate the logistics of training sessions, including scheduling, venue selection, and resource allocation.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements based on feedback and evaluation data.
Learning Technology Management:
- Evaluate and implement learning management systems or other learning technologies to streamline training delivery and tracking processes.
- Ensure the learning technology infrastructure is up to date and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
- Stay updated on emerging learning technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance learning experiences.
Knowledge Management:
- Establish processes for capturing, organizing, and disseminating organizational knowledge and best practices.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop knowledge-sharing platforms and resources.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the organization.
Performance Evaluation and Reporting:
- Develop and implement metrics and reporting mechanisms to assess the impact of learning initiatives on employee performance and organizational goals.
- Analyze data and provide insights to senior management regarding the effectiveness of learning programs.
- Generate regular reports on training activities, learner participation, and training evaluation results.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead a team of learning and development professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the learning operations team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as HR, IT, and department managers, to align learning initiatives with organizational objectives.
