Operations Manager [Philippines]


 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Operations Managers shall be responsible in all aspects of the restaurant's operation in order to ensure that Tim Horton’s standards involving people, products, cleanliness, and an exceptional guest experience are fulfilled. The Operations Manager is also accountable for sustaining and achieving business targets, or increasing sales growth and profit levels.

The responsibility includes managing the overall performance of the restaurants, implementing operational policies and procedures, and developing and executing growth strategies. The Operations Manager will report directly to the COO and work closely with Area Managers to achieve the company's strategic goals.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Design, plan and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
· Set comprehensive goals for business growth and success
· Establish policies and procedures that promote company culture and vision
· Oversee daily operations and the work of executives
· Analyze and interpret data and metrics
· Create reports for the management
· Take the lead in expansion activities
· Maintain relationships with partners and vendors
· Conduct Restaurant Visits and Create Operations Excellence
· Profit and Loss Management; Monitor/Manage Restaurants' Financial Performance
· People Management and Lead Restaurant Management Teams
·Ensure and audits compliance with Restaurant Brand International (RBI) standards,
company policies and procedures, operating manuals, rules and regulations and the
Philippine laws or regulatory mandates, local or abroad
· Restaurant Operations Consultation and Trouble Shooting
· Monitor/Manage Restaurants' People Processes
· Communications and Administration
· Self-Development to keep abreast with Industry practice and trends

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

· Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Business/Hospitality/ Operations Management,
equivalent or related field

WORK EXPERIENCE

· At least five (5) year of experience or exposure in management, operations, and
leadership, preferably from an International QSR Brand
· Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance
sheet and cash-flow management

SKILLS & OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong business acumen and a drive for results
· Demonstrated leadership and development skills with excellent performance
standards with a Tim Hortons Restaurant or a comparable work record, preferably in a
restaurant or in the retail/hospitality industry
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at higher levels
internally and externally to impact significant business outcomes
· Hands on experience in restaurant operations and management, strategic planning
and business development
· In-depth knowledge or familiarity of different business functions such as Human
Resources, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, IT/Business infrastructure, etc.
· Good knowledge of data analysis and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
· Able to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
· Strong math and Windows-based computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suites (Excel,
Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
· Proven organizational, planning and prioritizing skills
· Pro-active and willing to do what is required to get the job done
· English language proficiency that enables speech expression clarity and proficient
reading and verbal comprehension
· Problem-solving mindset and good decision-making skills
· Must be of good moral character and integrity.

Job Type: OJT (On the job training)

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • 13th month salary

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Makati City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
