Our global team expanded from 17 people in 2022 to 70+ now. Our customers now include KFC, AT&T, dozens of state and local governments, and General Motors (as well as consumers around the US).

About the Role

Live chat represents one of the most exciting opportunities to grow sales. With the right team, good management, and incremental improvements to scripts and closing techniques, live chat can deliver a 25% increase in sales.

As our first Chat Sales Manager, you will lead our newest sales team and work with sales and marketing leadership to make live chat an essential part of growth.

You will...

  • Work directly with leadership to establish and deliver revenue targets

  • Take chats yourself, and develop the script and sales process for future chat reps

  • Interview, hire, and train our live chat sales team

  • Report and improve upon conversion rate, time to close, quality, and cost efficiency

  • Onboard new team members and coach them to success

  • Maintain employee morale and engagement on the team

You are...

  • An experienced leader who has 4+ years of leadership with a team of 6 or more people

  • Comfortable in an environment with ambiguity

  • Obsessed with delivering on your commitments and setting the right goals

  • Focused on sales team culture and how it impacts customer experience

  • Eager to collaborate with our sales team leadership on overall goals and methods

  • Energized by continuous improvement both personally and with your team
